1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on a device when a website is visited. Similar technologies, including local storage or tracking pixels, may perform related functions.

2. Cookie categories

• Strictly necessary: required for security, checkout, shopping-cart functions, consent choices and core website operation. These do not require consent where they are genuinely necessary.
• Preferences: remember choices such as language or display settings.
• Analytics: help us understand website use and improve performance.
• Marketing: measure campaigns or support personalised advertising and email attribution.

3. Consent

Non-essential cookies will not be set before the visitor has made a choice. The production cookie banner will provide equally accessible options to accept or reject non-essential cookies and a way to adjust individual categories. Continuing to browse or closing the banner will not be treated as consent.

4. Current prototype

The current local prototype does not yet use production analytics, advertising or checkout cookies. When services are connected, this page will list the cookie name, provider, purpose, category and duration before launch.

5. Managing choices

Visitors will be able to reopen cookie settings and withdraw consent as easily as it was given. Cookies can also be deleted or blocked through browser settings, although some necessary website features may then not work correctly.

6. Third-party services

Payment, analytics, embedded media and email services may set cookies only in accordance with their role and the visitor's consent choices. Links to third-party websites are governed by those sites' own policies.
